Modular Office Pods

Private offices, phone booths and meeting rooms you can add to any floor plan in a day. Starting at $4,000.

A modular office pod is a freestanding, soundproof room that arrives as panels and goes up on your existing floor. No framing, no drywall, no contractors — you pick a size, we deliver it, level it and plug it in. When your team changes, the pod moves with it.

ClarityCastle modular office pods are in daily use at Greentown Labs Houston (10 units), Plug and Play Tech Center and Cemvita.

What modular office pods actually get you

  • Installed in a day. Pods arrive as flat-pack panels and go up on site — typically under two hours per unit.
  • No construction. Nothing is attached to your building. Landlord-friendly, and it leaves with you when the lease ends.
  • Moves and grows. Integrated leveling feet and wheels let you reposition a pod without disassembly. Add units as headcount grows.
  • Actually quiet. Multi-layer recycled-PET acoustic panels, tested to ASTM C423: roughly 30 dB of speech-level reduction (average NRC 0.75). A normal conversation inside is not intelligible outside.
  • Powered and ventilated. LED lighting, motion sensor, dual silent fans, power at the desk.
  • Certified. UL 962 certified (Rooms, models S/M/L).

Where modular office pods go

Modular office pods work anywhere there is floor space and a power outlet:

  • Open offices — private calls without booking a conference room. Phone booths and private offices.
  • Warehouses and shop floors — a quiet office on the floor, next to the work. Warehouse office pods.
  • Clinics and professional practices — confidential conversations in a shared bullpen.
  • Schools and libraries — study and support rooms without a capital project. Education pods.
  • Founders and small teams — a real office inside a coworking suite. Pods for founders and teams.
  • Meetings — huddle rooms to 12-person conference rooms. Meeting rooms.

Buy or lease

Buy outright starting at $4,000, or lease — Greentown Labs Houston runs its ClarityCastle pods on a lease. Ask for both numbers in your quote. See leasing.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a modular office pod cost?

Modular office pods start at $4,000 for a phone booth, $6,000 for a private office, $6,000 for a meeting room and $20,000 for a 12-person conference room. Delivery and installation are quoted by location. See the full cost guide.

Do I need a permit?

A pod is freestanding furniture that sits on your floor and plugs into a standard outlet; it isn’t attached to the building. Requirements vary by jurisdiction and building — we flag anything your site needs during the site visit.

How long does installation take?

Typically under two hours per unit once it’s on site. Multi-unit installs are usually done in a day.

Can I move it later?

Yes. Modular office pods are built to move: adjust the leveling feet to engage the integrated wheels and roll it — no disassembly needed. For a move to another building, we disassemble and reinstall.

How soundproof is it?

Tested to ASTM C423 with roughly 30 dB of speech-level reduction (average NRC 0.75). Conversation inside is not intelligible outside.

Can I lease instead of buy?

Yes — ask for lease pricing in your quote. Leasing details.

Do you install outside Houston?

Yes. Houston is same-day; other Texas and US locations are quoted by project.
